Just whatever you use make sure not to get it in her eyes and read if it's safe to use around the face. I have used blue kite on some of my chickens when they have injured their combs or wattles and I use a qtip to apply when doing it around the face.

if i put epsom salt in drinking water would that be okay? because they will dunk their heads in it including where they're injured but they use their second eyelids to protect their eyes?

Epsom salt is also a laxative so I don't rec that. It can cause dehydration.

Epsom salt or just plain salty water. You just want to wash out any bacteria from the bite. You want her to be able to dunk her head to keep her bill clean.
I'm thinking tiny dog when I think of Chihuahua with very small mouth.

Did you know that Epsom salt is magnesium sulfate and not a true salt?
Making a saline rinse with salt is good advice, but the 2 are different compounds and have different attributes.
Epsom salt is a natural anti-inflammatory.

I don’t think I'd add any salt to drinking water. You should just mix up a solution and spray it on her bill or take a cloth and dab her with the solution.
1 cup of water and 1/2 tsp of salt.
