Just to let everyone know, I'm not going to be around much for awhile. I will stay on top of the swaps we have going but won't be posting much to the boards. As some of you may be aware, I had to let my very best friend go yesterday.

I'm sitting at the kitchen table zigging and zagging around Christmas roosters. Time for a break!

My back is shot. I've had the DGS for the day and tonight. He's 10 months. His sister is at the local dinner theater with mom and dad for her fourth birthday. They are seeing Cinderella. I want to get this done so I can find the table again.

We will host the neighborhood meeting on Tuesday and I don't want to lug everything upstairs and then down again. By the way, our regulations don't permit chickens, so ours reside in the woods way below our house. Of course, all our neighbors know we have them. They just look the other way when they bring us their complimentary horse poop!

Thank you, Cindi, I have really fallen in love with this "iron it on and zig it" applique! When I get my selection of Christmas chicks from you, I think I will turn them into pillows. I frame the fronts, cord them and make a sham back so they can be pulled off and stored throughout the year. It will be really, really hard to decide which ones will be gifts 'cause I know I will love them all!
