I'll let you know when they get here. I need to get off my butt and get busy. My GrandAunt just turned 100years young and I'm trying to get her quilt finished quickly. Would have helped if my mom would have told me this a few weeks earlier!

I know what you mean, I have 3 weeks to finish the backs on 5 quilts and send take them to a local who machine quilts to get them all done for gifts in June.

What color background is everyone doing? I was thinking of doing dark green but all the pics so far have been white so I dont want to do something that would be weird for everyone else. Anyone doing a colored a background???

I'm way ahead of my schedule, the only fabric I don't have is my backing for the blocks and almost all of my pieces are cut out. I have been able to do a lot while watching TV and relaxing after work lately. This gives me a lot of time to get the appliqueing just right!

Whatever color you want. Mine is going to have a white background that has little sleighs and holly on it. Only rule is Winter Holiday colors. No punkins and scarecrows, or pink skulls, lol.

Ahead of schedule is great! We already have 2 people who have completed theirs. I'm so far behind it's crazy! I've gotten so far behind, I think I will eventually pass myself!

Mine are not going to have the same color of applique and since I am using some fabric I only have fat quarters of, a few will have a different tail. I'm assuming this is okay.

the only rule is that they are christmas fabrics other wise anything goes, mix and match, make them all different, use up scraps.
