Hey everyone! I have two Labradors, Comet and Ember. I love doing research for them, and honestly think I know more about their health/care than myself. 😂 To be specific, I really like holistic treatments/keeping styles. Example being, I am a raw feeder. Make my own raw and am very happy about it. I source all my recipes though Dogs Naturally which I also get a lot of my "holistic" information from. I use BARF style recipes.
Along with that, I do a lot of research on vaccines for dogs, holistic treatments etc, along with choosing not to spay my new pup.
Anyway, I wanted to see what other "holistic" style dog owners are out their. You don't have to be dedicated holistic care, rather just use some holistic style practices. This could be raw feeding, not fixing your dog, a holistic vet, or any other holistic related care you give your dogs. I would love to hear about it!
Stories, personal experiences, and tips are also welcome. Plus, I love doggie photos!
Thanks for stopping by everyone!

I am one of those pet owners! Been doing it for many many years. Though there are times you can't treat something naturally but do my best to keep my fur babies out of the vet.

This is the recipe I used. It was really easy.

Yes, I feel ya. When I'm in this situations I usually just up the probiotics. Just do my best to boost their immune system so they can quickly get their gut health back (which is usually big problem with conventional treatments) and feed chlorella for heavy metal detox. I haven't been doing it for long enough to have to treat anything to serious, but we've had our ways with ear infections and vaccines.
Cool to see other holistic pet owners out their!

How cool! I'm saving that for sure!
One thing I would change. I'd use ghee instead of coconut oil since it can cause inflammation and gut irritation for dogs. I was surprised to find that out since it has the opposite affect for people.
Love that recipe though! Cinnamon is good stuff. ;)
