Does anyone know what this is in our new Holland lips ear or what we need to do about it? The breeder gave him a dose of the invermectin so hopefully that will work!!

If he came from a breeder with mites, that likely means their entire stock has them. Obviously they knew something was up if they dosed him with ivermectin. You don't just do that as a general practice. Ear scale is Usually caused by mites. I would schedule a well visit with the vet if you just got him and have him checked out by a qualified doc, not the breeder.

If it's mites and they're left unchecked, the mites will spread and cause general skin irritation, itching, hair loss, and can long term impact your rabbit's health. Ivermectin may not get them, it depends on the type of mite.
