Holy cow! You will not believe this one...

Wow, I am looking at March sometime for my first egg. If one of my chicks layed in an egg at 14 weeks, that would be great!! I'd have some eggs in Dec or Jan if they did!!

I won't count on it though.
 
Nope but they are all spoiled rotten. they get leftover grits, warm oatmeal, flaxseeds in their food daily, veggies and lots of hugs.

I did give them baby vitamins when they first arrived. The lady at Meyer told me they were great layers and laid early...she said to expect eggs at around 18 weeks. This one jumped the gun by almost 4 weeks. LOL

Maybe it is because she is the Roo's favorite girl?

I think you are onto why your girl is your rooster's favorite, it's just like in middle school where boys do tend to like the early bloomers.

I had come eggs with the same coloring, especially when my girls first started laying. Double yoker maybe?
