Everyone wants to touch them, but neither of them are lap chickens

They cannot fly, so I can get them in the evenings when to climb up to their respective roosts.

Here is a picture of the rooster. He doesn't have a name, since he is going to be dinner. He wouldn't let me hold him for a picture, he just wanted to get to the girls..hee hee

He is awfully cute and I'd gladly give him away, we just have too many roosters.
As of last count we have 7 roosters and 8 hens. That's at least 6 too many roos. We are keeping the old daddy rooster, he is mellow, a good daddy to the chicks, a good guardian and we like the way he looks.
