that is really great , what a dog! i have a chocolate cocker that is a real suck up, she minds very well and is quite a smart dog. and i dont like her. she is 4-5 now so she is part of the family but she is no fun. i used to use her to herd for me and that was great then one day a chicken wandered out of line and she went after it but she didnt plan on bringing it back. the chicken was ok but there was feathers everywhere and she wouldnt drop it so no more herding in her future. now she is just like everyone else around here, just sits on her butt waiting for a handout

She is a cool dog. She's only 9 months old so still in training. I researched a lot of dogs before I chose a Belgian Tervuren.
I couldn't do Great Pyrenees and such, because I can't do drool...eww.

My Hubby's English Bulldog is enough! Luckily she only drools when she eats...I just look away!!
It gets really cold here so I needed one with a good coat too.
I love Gordon Setters, but I thought having it retrieving the birds could be a bad thing!
Your cocker sounds like all my animals....sitting around waiting for a hand out!
We have a "Working Farm" We work our butts off and they get spoiled!

i just realized there is more animals in this house than people, 2 cats and 3 dogs and they are all worthless. cats dont catch mice, they are afraid of them and dogs just lay around doing nothing

Pets = you do all the work and get to pet them.
Our animals in the house out numbered us long ago!
We have only one cat that will catch mice and nicely leaves them for us to find... Frankly, I'd rather she didn't
