(Yeah ok )! Nathan got down to the cafeteria and saw it was rather empty. He walked up to the counter and saw he had the same two options as every day, bland oat meal or dry cereal. He took two bowls of dry cereal and two bottles of milk paid for them at the register. He then headed up to one of the patients rooms. He got there and unlocked the door then walked in "Good morning Mia" he said as he set the food down on a small wooden table.

Mia was sitting on her bed, with a rather blank look on her face.
" 'Morning." She replied dully. "Which one are you, what's your name?" She asked with barely any interest at all.

"Dean came to me after the accident one night when I lying in bed crying. I don't know where he came from or why he came. He just came when I needed someone. I lost everything when I lost my parents, and he was the only one who understood what I was going through. Why are you giving me a shot? I thought this was just an exam." Emily tensed in her chair as the needle penetrated her flesh.

"It's me Nathan" ( I thought they could have known each other for a while)

(Oh, okay.)

"Oh, hi. Sorry I didn't recognize your voice." Mia said apologetically and sighed. "It seems like it's hard for me to remember much of anything anymore."

"Well, we still need to give you vaccinations. So you won't catch any sort of illness later on." Dr. Mythe explained simply.

"I lost my parents too. Well, my original mother didn't want me. And then the couple who adopted me died when I was a young adult." He told Emily, not telling her the fact that he was the one who killed them.
"So, is Dean the only one you can see? You've never seen another spirit?"

"I brought you some breakfast" he said as he brought her over a bowl

"Thanks." Mia said and felt around for the bowl. When she felt the cold porcelain she grabbed it and started eating. Over the past few weeks she knew she was losing too much weight, and so she was making an attempt to eat more. Even though she'd probably die in here anyway.
"So, how's work?" She asked Nathan.

As the contents of the syringe entered Emily's arm, she felt an icy sensation coursing throughout her body. "I don't see spirits" Emily replied. "I only hear Dean". Emily was getting anxious from the Drs probing questions and suddenly began feeling quite sleepy.
