Emily watched the nurse leave and felt relief wash over her as the door closed. She was alone, and no one would be checking in on her until morning, so she had a great deal of time to process her feelings. She went to the window and looked out at the swaying trees of the forest. It was nearly dusk, and the sky was streaked with orange and pink. Emily felt comforted by the beautiful sunset, and it seemed to put her at ease.

I have a brother, our father is the reason we both ended up here, the Dr is doing terrible things to people in here, I have to get out or I will have the same fate as Dean.

It was still too early for her to try out the keycard, dinner would still be being served, so she sat at the desk and continued reading her book.

"Oh, sir!!" Eva gasped. "I'm so sorry!"

"Just watch where you're going next time." Dr. Mythe muttered and looked at his watch once he had gathered all of his things.
"Gotta head back to the lab..." He said quietly to himself and walked away.

"Sir? I just got here, and I haven't been assigned a nurse." Eva said.
Dr. Mythe looked to her.
"You haven't? Gah, what's wrong with everyone, barely doing their jobs." He thought for a few moments.
"What's your name? Full name." He got out a pen and a piece of paper.

"Ummm." Eva said, not sure what to make of him. "Eva Rodkins."
Dr. Mythe quietly repeated her name to himself as he wrote it down.
"Get to your room, and I'll assign you with a nurse. If you end up having a nurse that doesn't do her job, tell me." He instructed, and had a menacing glint in his eyes.
