Nathan had just finished his shift for the day and headed for Mia's room to check up on her. He had brought her a coffee from the cafeteria. He got to her room and gently knocked on the door "it's me" he said

(YEP, I'M WAITING FOR...Cutie...Chool...? XD)
(ah poo)

Janette reclined on her bed with a book in hand. She had hardly had any time to read, what with all the checkups and random incidents of late, and when she did have time it was better spent sleeping.

again? Since I am new to RP, what happens when a character becomes inactive for a long time, like weeks? Do you just go on without them, give them the boot, or kill them off? I'm not saying that's what's going on here, I was just curious. It might seem like I'm not active because I'm not posting much, but my character is waiting for night time. I am on here about 3-4 times a day checking in.)

(I usually just wait it out. If they don't return after many weeks and one of my characters is being held up by them, I'll just continue use of that character and hope the person comes back. :idunno )

(Yep, again.
Well, depends on the person. Usually it seems like people just leave the other person's character so they can continue on with theirs, or wait it out. Usually I'll just continue using my character and leave the other person's character, because often times I can't really just kill my character off.)

"Okay, come in." Mia replied, glad that Nathan's shift was over so she wouldn't have to be alone for a little bit.
