Once Thomas was done looking at all of the staff forms, he decided that he would need to tell them they're fired right away. He didn't want to waste any more money on people who don't work hard.

(Skip him firing people because it's boring.)

Now that the people with marked forms were fired, he had to get them to leave. Luckily none of them really knew the truth yet, so they'd think the forest was a perfectly safe place to walk through.

"Yeah, just gather your things and walk out." Dr. Mythe instructed, and one by one they all left. Luckily the lobby was empty, so nobody who knew the forest was a death trap could see what was happening.

The people were walking together, some of them looking rather miffed at the fact that they had been fired.
"Why would he just make us leave immediately? And he didn't even offer to take us through this ridiculous forest." One complained.
"Why don't they just cut it down anyway? It's just a waste of space."

As they got deeper into the forest, it started getting darker and darker. It was extremely difficult to see anything.

The person who was in the front looked back at the group, because he thought he heard some weird growling noise.
"Hey, who's that guy in the back? I don't remember him." He said, looking at the tall, muscular person in the back...From what he could see from the dark outline, it looked like he had pointed ears and claws, too. Weird.

Suddenly the 'guy in the back' jumped at the nearest person and killed them. He roared and more of them came, surrounding the group.
The fired workers had just walked into the territory of the humanoids, and obviously nobody was happy about that.

But while there was chaos in the forest, the homeless shelter was having a normal day. The screams and roars weren't disturbing the residents who were ignorant about the whole situation, and the staff continued on with their work while people were in the forest, finding out that maybe there was a reason no one left.

Janette flipped through the pages, reading up on what history was contained of Emily's. She was felt like with them both having lost their parents in freak accidents, they would have at least something in common. Having finished her cold hot tea, she tossed the styrofoam cup in the trash and gathered up her notebook and the file.

As Emily stood in her doorway scanning the hallway, she saw Nurse Janette coming out of the cafeteria with a file folder tucked under her arm. Emily ducked back into her room, unsure if the nurse had seen her standing there.

Janette climbed the stairs to the second floor where her room was located. When she noticed a janitor coming down from the third floor, she stopped him. "Were you cleaning room **?" She asked. The man nodded, then gave a brief report and complaint about how nasty it had been. She thanked him, then asked if the resident of that room was up there at the moment.
"Nah, she was taken with a guard downstairs," he said gruffly.
"Oh," Janette frowned. She continued to her room and deposited the papers on the bed, then returned downstairs in search of the guard and Emily.

Thomas went back to his office, pretty sure that the people were probably already killed, and got out his computer. He rarely ever used computers, but that kind of technology was sometimes very useful when trying to hire people.

"Phew! She didn't see me" Emily sighed with relief as she peeked out in the hallway and saw the nurse heading for the stairs. Emily closed her door and sat down at the desk. She opened the only drawer in the desk to find a pad of paper and a pen. She took the items out and laid them on the desktop. She looked through the pages, but they were blank. She absentmindedly doodled on the paper while she daydreamed.

Janette demanded of the first person she saw, a tall blond nurse, "Where was Emily Moore from room ** taken?" The blond shrugged, stuttering excuses and saying she didn't know. Jannette sighed irritably and hurried to the cafeteria. She spotted a guard eating a burger, so she went over to him. "Were you the guard sent to retrieve Emily Moore?" She asked in a calm tone. The man shook his head, but told her his buddy, Nathan, had taken her to her new room on the first floor. Janette sighed with relief. She wasn't sure why she was so worried about the girl, but now that Emily was in her care she wanted to keep an eye on her and show her that this was indeed a decent place to be. Without thanking the man, Janette went to find out which room Emily was removed to.

Janette knocked gently on the first door on the first floor (I should be a poet). She wasn't in her nursing clothes, but she had her name tag, so hopefully whoever opened the door wouldn't freak out.
