Janette spun around, surprised. "Oh, hi," she smiled and backed away from the door.Nathan was patrolling the halls when he came a crossed Janette "Hello"
Janette knocked gently on the first door on the first floor (I should be a poet). She wasn't in her nursing clothes, but she had her name tag, so hopefully whoever opened the door wouldn't freak out.
Emily's doodling was interrupted by a soft knock on her door. She rose from the desk and walked to the door. Just as she was about to open the door, she heard voices conversing on the other side. She removed her hand from the knob and listened.Janette spun around, surprised. "Oh, hi," she smiled and backed away from the door.
Janette spun around, surprised. "Oh, hi," she smiled and backed away from the door.
"Yes, as a matter of fact I do. Do you know to what room a Emily Moore was switched to? A janitor said she was moved today," Janette replied."Anything you need help with?"
"Yes, as a matter of fact I do. Do you know to what room a Emily Moore was switched to? A janitor said she was moved today," Janette replied.
(i thought he took Emily to her room?)"Let me see if I can't find out" Nathan picked up his radio and started talking to someone on the other end
(Ah okay)( they skipped that part so I don't know if it was me who moved her or an other guard)
Emily barely heard the guard arrive over all the noise Don was making dumping the shattered remains of the mirror in a metal trash can. She looked over at the doorway where guard Nathan stood, surveying the disgusting state of her room. Emily rose from her bed with her possessions cradled in her arms, and walked to the door.
Nathan led her down the hallway to a set of stairs. At the bottom of the second flight of stairs, she heard people chatting with each other as they walked past the cafeteria. Emily looked in at the people sitting around tables talking and noticed a few that looked like they might be patients. They continued down the hall until they stopped at a door numbered 24. Nathan opened the door, flipped on the light, and walked inside.
Emily followed Nathan into the room and looked around in wonder. This room was larger than her old room, better furnished, and spotless. She walked to the bed, dropped her possessions on it, and sat, checking out her new surroundings. There was a soft comfy bed with a brass headboard in one corner, a nightstand with a small white lamp on it, a dresser next to the door, and a desk with a chair. An unopened door to the left of the bed proved to be a bathroom when Nathan opened the door and flipped on the light.
Nathan asked if her room was ok and told her she would be in Nurse Janette's care now, then he left the room, closing the door behind him. Emily listened for the lock to click, but it didn't. She tentatively went over to the door and grasped the shiny round knob. She gave it a slight turn. When she encountered no resistance she turned it further. The mechanism disengaged and the door opened. "Did he forget to lock me in?" Emily wondered. "Maybe Janette doesn't lock in her patients like that horrible nurse Lidia did. I haven't seen Lidia for a while, I wonder if she was assigned to someone else."
Emily closed the door softly and began to put away her belongings in the dresser.
(Here's the part you may have missed)( they skipped that part so I don't know if it was me who moved her or an other guard)
