Silly thing was I was starting to doubt myself at one point. Thinking...CAN this wait till I call my dr. on Mon. and will my dr. be IN on mon. and will there be appt's available? And my mom was like, is it THAT bad you have to go to the ER?
But I couldn't help but think about the time in April when I went into a walk in and they said I had a muscle spasm and sent me home and I had a heart attack... a BIG heart attack and I was home alone with my 2 little girls and they mean the world to me and I thought... just get it checked out... so they tell you it's the flu and send you home... so they give you some antibiotics maybe and send you home... best to err on the side of caution than try to tough a couple more days out.
Though I was sad and pouting I had to stay and was at times deeply missing my little girls especially when I called them the next morning and spoke to them and their little Angel voices carried across that wire and plain tugged on my heart. I knew I was in the place I needed to be and Grandma was taking good care of my girls. Thank Heaven for little girls and Grandmas.
That shot in your stomach for blood clots sounds like Heparin...I had 3 shots a day for 2 months...well 3 weeks for sure because I was awake then..when I was in a "coma" I could have been on an IV drip of Heparin. You should see what your stomach looks like after that long of having those shots...I was completely black and then they had to move onto the back of my arm..ouch. I had strep pneumonia almost a year ago and very, very nearly died from it...I'm very glad you went to the doctor in that amount of time...I waited to long and paid for it severely.
