pneumonia is nothing to play with... I've been coughing up gunk all week and I'm thinking I've got to get on an antibiotic.

Kick your feet up and MILK IT baby!!! Let them pamper you and spoil you rotten for a few days. They already carried the load for three, let 'em hang in there for three more at least! you deserve it. Sorry you got so sick, but SO glad they caught it and gave you some R 'n R and antibiotics and got you headed back the right way.

The x-ray showed a streak but nothing near as comprehensive as the dr. thought I had it until the CT scan.

They had me on an antibiotic iv drip of levaqine and now 5 days of 750 mg tabs of it.
Also lactobacillus for 5 days... that's for the bacteria in your tummy right?

Levaqine they said is a popular one that treats most strains and since they have to grow my strain for a week was it they said? or at least a couple of days... they start treating with this.


I also got shots in my belly of a med. to help prevent me from blood clots since I'd be laying down a lot in bed. The sites of the shot are bruised and one has a lump the size of a golf ball... what is that all about? Ouch.


I was to be planning my dd's 4th birthday that is coming this weekend but I have cancelled and will throw it the weekend after. She wants it Tinkerbell themed and I was having fun before all this happened thinking of the treasure hunt I would send the kids on and had found pixie wings for the girls to wear and Captain Hooks "hook" for the boy to wear and those they will keep for party favors. I wasn't supposed to get sick.
