Too bad we didn't get a front shot, but it looks like it was a beautiful day and you were a beautiful bride!!! We're planning on an outdoor wedding at home too but at DBF's. Haven't set a date - one of these days. I'm in no hurry because I love my house which is why I want to have you do the sign - AWWWW!

And thanks - I love the big comfy couch on this thread

Rusty is still framing it and I have a couple more coats of poly to put on it but was dying!! to show you how nice the tractor turned out. I'll post the whole sign when it's done... probably tonight.

I tried to write Kabota on arm but had major problems because of how tiny the letters are... I could try again ...was thinking of going to Wally World for a paint pen. If you still want it, I'll try later tonight.

The board had a couple holes on the left side but we filled with some old square nail heads... thought that really set it off.

Hubby will be so delighted

And thanks!! for the compliment, Kansaseq. I've been getting better and better at these things and the signs have been getting more complicated... Luckily I've got the hang of it now or I could never have done these last few.

You had asked for a pic of our house as an idea for our sign. Here it is:

I'd like the pic to be further away so you can see the pines in the pic from top to bottom. Should I take a new one? There are nine pines in front of the house and the house peeks through the trees. Will that work for you? Also, please email me your phone # again so we can get together for the coop. My phone ate it, more like my 5 year old erased my emails on my BB. Thanks!

The house is adorable. We have two different ways we could go. We could do a portrait of your home.. what I usually do. This will be a close-up of the house and we could add some pine trees to the sides and back giving the focus entirely to the home with nothing blocking the view.

OR, we could do more of a landscape portrait making the focus more like a scene. The house would be smaller and the trees would be bigger and some in front... and have some grass and background... like a painting.

The price would be the same. I would just add more detail to the home if we made that the focus. Either way, I need more pics. If you want to do the home portrait, I need to see what is behind the trees. If you want to do the landscape, we'll need a pic from farther back so I can see what the trees look like.

Pm me and we'll talk price. House portraits usually run in between $100 and$150 depending on size and detail.

Here is some pics of the coop. Rus is home from work today so we should get it done.
Here's my son playing in it yesterday

And here it is all done!!! just need to take pics of the run.. It should be ready for photo-op tomorrow.

The trap door is right next to the nesting box.. you can't see it from this angle ... but it's there and that will be the side that the 4x4 run will attach to.

OMG! I love it! It is sooo cute! Do you think if we wanted to finish it with clear polyurethane, it would work? I don't want it ruined by the weather, you know?
