Homemade GUMP Bread - best I've found! **New pics added on pg. 5**

I made it for the first time tonight. All I can say is YUMMY!!! I made one loaf of bread and used the other half of the dough to make cinnamon rolls. Yummy, yummy!!

I also used all purpose flour, but read that if you added 1 T. Wheat Gluten for 1 c. flour than it is the same as bread flour. So I added 5 T. Wheat Gluten with the flour and it turned out so light and fluffy.

I am going to make another batch tomorrow with 1/2 white flour and 1/2 wheat flour. This is so good and so easy!

I do need to practice on rolling it up so the edges look better.

Since getting the recipe from GG weeks ago, it has become a staple to have homemade bread and rolls. But I just realized that my DD is soooo wrong when eating it. She comes home from school and if there is any left she will nook it up and eat it just as is. NO BUTTER! What is wrong with her?!?!

I thought so.

but on the other hand not having butter on your warm bread just means Gump bread is awesome by it self and better for her in the long run not using butter. My son does make up the difference though.

This is about the 5th or 6th time making it for us. Tonight we brushed it
with melted butter and sprinkled the cookie sheet with cornmeal.

Me and the kid then had a 10:30PM dinner of bread dipped in turkey soup.

Life is good.
