for all asking about the Trinity Loaf, it is VERY simple. divide one loaf's worth of dough into 4 equal parts.

make a ball out of one section by tucking the dough under itself over and over until you have a smooth ball. (rolling dough into balls doesn't work well). do this with a total of three parts.

place balls onto a well oiled baking sheet, in the shape of a three leaf clover.

with remaining part dough, cut into four equal parts. roll out one section like a snake. (think playdough). do one more. pinch ends together and twist to make a double rope. pinch other end.

place this double rope across the middle of the clover.

repeat snake/double rope and create the cross. tuck ends under the dough.

let the dough finish it's final rise and then bake.

go on with your bad self, jen! woo hooo!

i made four loaves also. they are all on island and tempting me.

did one loaf rolled and made into a ring. cinnamon and dried cherry
one as rolls, one as a Trinity loaf and the last like a round loaf.

this recipe does very nicely with an egg white wash.
