Homemade GUMP Bread - best I've found! **New pics added on pg. 5**

I just found this recipe will have to try it. I am the 13 child by a minute and my mother always made everything from scratch.

Our favorite was fresh bread and frosting. Also she would take a muffin tin and stretch some dough and put it in the muffin tin and put pie filling in and pinch the bread closed at the top and bake small bread pies tooooooooooooo goooooooooooooooooooood.


She would also fry bread dough up and we ate that with butter and jelly.

Now I fry bread dough up and make toco's with them.

Take bread dough stretch it and put it in hot oil brown on both sides. Drain on paper towel and put your toco stuff on and eat. Easy as pie.

Mmmm... Where I came from fried bread and tacos was called, Navajo Tacos.

Very yummy! I tend to make my Navajo Tacos out of scones instead of bread though.
