Good advice!!!, the double lighting heat system also helps to prevent loss of heat due to one bulb burning out in the middle of the night or while everybody is gone for the day.

this is my first foray into any sort of wiring, and so have NO idea what so ever as to how to join a light bulb to a thermostat. I will try adding more insulation.

how many bulbs do you normally go through in a typical incubation cycle?
