.) Person A offers a gift(s) worth $10. Gift may be anything homemade, but must be something that ships easily and must not expire within six months or so. This is so that people can offer the items as gifts for the holidays. Person B likes what is offered and says "I'll take those and in turn offer..." Person C likes it and offers another homemade item that fits the requirements.
.) To qualify for accepting an offer, you need to post what you are offering in return in the same post.
.) When each trade is posted, please pm or email the person who offered the items and work out the shipping arrangements.
.) The person receiving the items will pay no shipping because the person who sends them will have received their seeds without paying shipping as well.
.) Try to be as specific as possible about the items. Please list any ingredients, flavors, scents, sizes, etc.
.) Again, items must be valued at $10 or more, this is to make shipping worth it, since some items will be expensive to ship. Please keep in mind flat rate shipping, it may be cheaper than regular priority or parcel post.
.) All packages MUST be sent with delivery confirmation (just ask for it when the P.O. asks if there are any extra services needed). Delivery confirmation costs $.70 for Priority packages, $.80 for other shipping options and is free if you print your label through the USPS store. This is to prevent non-shipments and false claims of lost packages.
.) Items must be shipped out within one week of the offer being accepted, unless otherwise discussed between offerer and accepter.
(Wording stolen from MsBear from the seed chain, who stole it from Shelleyd2008 from the Crazy Quail / Gamebird Swap, lol. )
Ideas for what can be offered: Soaps, candles, jams, sewing projects, crochet, candies, etc. As long as it does not expire within six months.
