Homemade PVC Quail Cage

So I am not very good at building stuff, but I decided to make a cheap and easy cage. I bought some PVC, connectors, zip ties, and hardware cloth. I just cut a door out with wire cutters and used a clip to hold it shut. Seems to work pretty good so far! Anyone else have any PVC cages?

I make tons of stuff from PVC, but not cages....yet.
I've made a lot of my prospecting gear out of it.

What did you attach the wire with? How will this be over the winter?

I just used zip ties to secure the wire to the PVC frame. I bought two packs of 100 and used all of them. the cage is 2x2x5. I live in south Florida so the winters aren't something i need to worry about. I do wonder how long the zip ties will hold up in the sun though. I figure they are cheap enough to replace if they start to deteriorate though. Here's another pic where you can see the zip ties better.
