what size tap Did you use for the nipples in the pvc

We didn't, we used a 3/4" drill bit to start a hole, and then used a utility knife to cut the rest.

The poultry nipple tap size is 10mm x 1.0, however a 3/8-24 tap will work. If you use a 3/8-24 tap the softer plastic of the poultry nipple will deform slightly, but it work.

If you want a square bucket find somebody that uses cat litter and see if they have the tidy cat litter buckets most are yellow, they are kinda square have a handle and are pretty thick, and if the lid is still with it would be good as well, just wash it out real good.
