Homesteaders

@lazy gardener be careful what you ask for. I tend to get a bit offensive at times.

For example, why the world are we all so strung out on voting for the best candidate when neither are for crap. I vote Mickey Mouse for president and Pluto for vp.

Why do parents these days let the government tell them how to raise their kids. Example of that, yup I have one. My kids help me with every aspect of my farm, including processing meat and culling a sick animal. My youngest 2 are 7 and 9. Apparently that's too young to witness "" the brutality of slaughter". Blah blah!! Bite it my kids appreciate what they eat, can the family in the big city who thinks chicken comes from a can say that.

Ok I'm done sorry! Long day.

:lau   No she wouldn't...not with only the devices we have available here!  Nor would she have her own stylist on hand, so her hair would be as messy as ours.  Well...maybe not as messy as MINE, but it'd still be pretty messy.  ;)

That big butt may come in handy for awhile, though....could keep her from starving for awhile as she uses up the fat stores there.
Sorry for her luck, I can show her how to use a kabob skewer to keep her hair up. Other than that she can be frizzy and full of hay and dirt like me and mine.

Wait I have a better idea. She can stay home, talk crap about "poor people " and starve in her fancy house while we all stay nicely fed.

Poor Kim...she really takes a beatin' in this world, doesn't she? I shouldn't be talking bad about her as she didn't have the advantages I had growing up. Poor thing was deprived of a real life and I don't expect she'll ever find one, which is pretty sad. I wouldn't trade her, even if I could have her looks too....it would be a miserable life.

Not just Kim. All of the people that live that lifestyle. They will never know the joy of throwing mud ball at their mom. No bread dough mittens. No exploding jelly experiment (shhhh my husband doest know about that one yet). Have those fancy people ever even felt mud between their toes?

To my they are the poor ones. They might have money and shiny stuff and fast cars, but @Beekissed and I ((nd all of you like us) have the true riches. Fresh air, clean water and a true life.

No offense to any of you who have loads of money. I'm just a brat tonight.

Well i have some sad news, Grandpa passed away on Saturday. So my life is almost at a stand still for the next couple of weeks. I am currently writing this with my dog on my lap and friends surrounding me.

I was chatting with a friend the other day and telling about my garden and meat-raising plans for next spring. She asks, "What're you going to do with all that food?" Really? I responded that I planned to stop buying most of my food at the grocery store and know what's in my food! Maybe someday I'll learn to just keep quiet. I'll come here for support!
