HONESTLY How common are deformities and problems?**PICS ADDED**

i had a chick that hached with a sideways eye too! but it was hatcched by a broody, and now is named murleen..LOL its my chickens baby.. but its not really a babie anymore. i wonder if they see everything sideways?

I dont have any Gory pics but heres some of my "special needs" birds. I think I am going to make them a separate coop to make SURE none of the eggs are hatched!

This is one of the crippled RIR from Ideal. The one behind it wouldnt cooperate with me and the camera. Its similar but not as exagerated of a problem. I'll try to get it when my daughter gets home and can hold it for me.

I think some deformities that come from hatcherys are how rough the babies are handled. Have you ever seen Dirty jobs? The one about chicken hatcherys and sexing? I never really had a deformed chicken. Do your alien chickens seem as if they are in pain?
 
This is Sammi, He was hatched in a Chick a Bator and looked Normal until he was older and it just gradually became worse. We tried bandages and tape but it deformed inspite of our efforts.
