Honking chicken

I had a standard buff cochin that honks, she now lives with a friend, but she still honks LOL

My light brahma honks...first time she did it I freaked. I thought a canadian goose had infiltrated the house and I went looking but it was her. I think she likes to honk because she is head honcho and the other girls do not honk.

I've got honkers too. My three 13-week-old pullets all honk. The noise fits right in with their awkward, gawky, teenager looks!

Even if I can't see her, I can hear her coming. She has these long, drawn out clucks, and they get progressively louder; I chuckle every time I hear her

I have one, my blue Americauna that sounds like a duck when she is preening! hubbbbahabbabbbabbbbb, she is a nut anyways. Sure glad to hear your birds making weird noises too.
My cat makes noises too while she is preening...the house is strange (and miserably hot- incase no one else noticed-

)
