Honking?

I have a white and brown Easter egger chick… she doesn’t cluck or chirp, she honks, is that normal for chicks? She’s maybe about 12/13 weeks old with four other chicks.

I have Brahma who sounds like a goose. She says "Gronk" instead of "Cluck".

I think it's just a thing some chickens do.

It's normal! Once in a while, you get a chicken that makes some WEIRD sounds!

It's a puberty thing - she'll probably start to grow out of it once she gets closer to laying/after she starts laying.

I love the 'honking' stage...makes me grin every time.
