It's a hard balance not mention the USA/Canada border being involved. We will be bringing as many adult birds as requested to the Ohio National Poultry show for pickup or airline shipments.

We have an extremely large flock of Hookbills and they are secure at our farm for the rest of their days. Some large hatcheries only offer Hookbills for sale if they are profitable enough for them. We don't work that way as it's the birds first at our farm.

I have to say, your philosophy is lovely. As much as I would love to get my hands on some Hookbills easily, I would much rather have a vigorous breed that's hard to find vs. an easily found but sickly one. Overbreeding for profit has destroyed a lot of good dog breeds, and I'd hate to see it happen to any other domestic animal.

And thank you for continuing to fuss with the US/Canadian border! As someone who hopes to purchase some birds from you in the future, it's much appreciated. When is the Ohio National Poultry show?
