Aspen gasped, and slightly blushed, "really, thank you."
"Your welcome "," I hope you like it " !

Scar felt like there was something missing in his life and that Aspen could fill in that void , someday I'm going to ask her to be my mate , he promised himself !

As Fenrir wept about the trampled bat orchids, he spotted a rare black rabbit. That is the perfect gift he decided and left after it, giving chase. Not long after he caught the rabbit, but he did not kill it, he would leave that honor to his mate. He grabbed it by the nape of then neck and took it back to the den. Once there he held it down with his paw and pushed a semi heavy rock onto one of its feet. When it started to scream he whacked it with his paw, dazing it.
Amber watched from behind. "Must you be so cruel to that poor thing?" She asked sweetly. She was really just trying to annoy him.

"I cannot let its screams wake my mate," Fenrir explained. He knew she was trying to annoy him, the sarcasm was practically dripping off his voice but he pretended not to notice. "If you had a mate, would you let a rabbit awaken them by screaming its head off?" He asked her gently. No matter how she provoked him, he was going to be kind and not give in to her tauntings.

Amber laughed. "No. I would kill it, and put it out of its misery. Don't you see? The poor thing is terrified! How could you keep it in so much fear for so long?" She demanded.

"It is a rare creature and I would like my mate to have the honor of having to decide whether or not to kill it. I will leave it up to her to decide if it should be allowed to live and spread its genes or if it will bring luck to us to eat such a rare meal."

Walking past Amber, he stepped out of the den and decided to go hunting for himself. Looking back, he said kindly, "You're not even supposed to be in the alpha den Amber, and yet I let you stay. But you do not like alphas, I can tell that much. When you are ready to change, come to me and explain. I want to know if it had to do with a previous alpha, or if you are just like this." With that he trotted off to where all the turkey roost. Along the way he spotted Scar and Aspen. He sat and watched quietly, unnoticed for a bit, biding his time, the turkeys would be roosting all night. Sighing quietly he rose after awhile and crept silently toward the turkeys, there he sat and waited for one of them to push another out of a tree for more room.

Amber shook her head sadly, genuinely feeling sorry for the poor rabbit. "It's interesting, isn't it? That you cry about flowers, but you seem to have a heart of stone. It's rare. Let it live. You don't need to take a life just for luck. And, if you plan to kill it, make it quick, instead of letting it freak out about its future."
