"so?" Sunala prompted.
"Well..." Sliver trailed off.
"Come onnnn." Sunala said.
"So." Sliver said.
Sunala waited.
"Why don't you just leave."
"Because I didn't come all this way into the forest for you to tell me nothing!" Sunala said.
"well... you did. Because I'm not going to tell you anything." Sliver said, making up his mind that he wouldn't tell her.

Amber almost groaned with disappointment. She decided that she could find out another day...maybe with a bit of influence via fighting. Turning around she silently crept into the forest to look for some trouble. With the swish of her tail, she was gone.

Fenrir listened patiently. Trying to see if Sunala could drag it out of him. He needed to know what had happened so he could better protect the pack. He didn't think Orchid could do anything but if another stray came in, they could be a potential threat as well.

He noticed Amber leave but this was more important at the time.

"Well maybe you will become a higher rank in this pack!" Clover said cheerfully but she knew that Orchid probably wouldn't ever be a higher rank than lower mid ranker.
"Maybe!" Orchid said wagging her tail happily. Everyone is so nice in this pack, she thought, except for that Silver, she added with a shiver of fear.

Amber continued on and happened upon a small coyote. She'd never seen her before. This must be Orchid, she decided. A glint appeared in her eyes as she came up with a ploy.
Orchid had excused herself from the beta she was fishing with and was wondering the territory. She came across another coyote, a silver and brown one with a white belly and smiled. "Hello!" she said cheerfully. She was completely oblivious to the mischievous gleam in the coyote's eyes.
