Amber raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything. Instead, she began to pull it back to camp. While her stomach growled and she dearly wanted to eat, this time Amber couldn't help thinking of her cousins and the others back at camp who were probably hungry.

Jasper swallowed the last bite and grabbed a leg, helping her drag the deer back to camp.

Jasper's heart sank a little but he felt like that was difficult for her to say so he accepted it. He didn't respond and just focused on getting the deer back to camp.

Amber noticed he seemed a little different, almost upset. ”Did I say something to offend you?” she asked. The words sounded odd on her tongue. She never cared what others thought.

Amber looked skeptical but didn’t say anything. She knew that she was a pretty terrible coyote, and that she was almost always offending someone. Amber glanced up and saw that they were nearing camp.

You shouldn’t have done that.” Amber flushed, but didn't say that it wasn't her. ”Well, I’m off.” she said. She glanced at Jasper. ”Thanks for hunting with me. It was...nice.” she smiled and trotted off

Jasper wanted desperately to follow her but didn't want to be too weird. He stared off at her while she trotted off. He walked slowly back to his den. His tail hung but wagged slightly every time he though about her.
