We did a lot of digging out yesterday, 20". We are good today and birds are all fine.
Soon as weather breaks, I will be selling my two male banty ducks to make room for more chickens (pullets)

I lived....I wondered for a while...we didn't have power from Tuesday evening till Thursday afternoon. Freeeeeeezing....crazy....it was awful and such a hassel....sheesh...
Last night it was back on everywhere EXCEPT my road....that was supremely aggravating.
Conditions here were actually not very bad though...Tuesday evening things were really icing up a lot, you could hear trees falling in the woods and stuff....but - Wednesday morning, the ice was gone. Melted and freeze dried in the wind overnight. Thankfully. We got just a skiff of snow then Wednesday.

Hello fellow Hoosiers!! I am a newbie here, but plan on sticking around! We are hoping to get our first plock of chicks this spring! Hope all your animals are fairing well this winter! It's been crazy here this past week! Our poor pygmy goats are slip slidding all around! So happy to be a part of this group!
