We are in southeastern will country, Illinois, about 17 miles north of Kankakee, 9 miles east of Peotone, 2 miles from the Indiana state line.
We had a tad shy of 11 inches of rain. Thank God We are on a hill, and none of our animals were injured or drowned, I remember last year at the Lake Country Fair in Crown Point, In ,there was a terrible rain, and many of the poultry exhibits were lost.
I pray that everyone in the area is safe and dry, and like us, only muddy when you go outside !
