She appears to be a Black-Tailed Buff Japanese Bantam. That breed is known for having short legs, and upright tails.

I'm hoping she'll fit in Nice with my other bantys as each ones sorta special and now there's only room for just 1 more. will be working on nest box and some plans to enlarge the B coop over winter.

Man that little Almond is one beautiful little hen. I found this thread while trying to figure out what breed Josie is.

Josie might be a Black Tailed Buff Japanese Bantam or an Old English Game Hen. She's at the bottom of the pecking order because she's the littlest bantam (of four) that I have. She's not real outgoing either. At times I have to encourage her out of the chicken coop when the others coming running out.
