We have been raising a Tolbunt chick for the last couple of months - "she" came home about the age of two weeks. She's now nine weeks, and I'm still hoping she's a girl but just can't be sure.
Her feathers on her head seem quite round and puffy, she has no red on her face, but otherwise I just don't know.
Thoughts?
This is Phyllis at two weeks and again at five weeks.
And here she is at three weeks and again at eight weeks. Her "fluff" doesn't look totally round in this photo because she'd been poking around the bushes just before - but in person she's quite rounded.
