Sorry Sarah, that was for Rillion, about Wolf Creek.

I thought Joy Ride was pretty good, but the last time I seen the entire thing was many years ago. I did see a portion of it last year on TV but not enough to decide.

lol I went back and tried to figure out which movie you were talking about. Ive never seen 'Wolf Creek'. I dont think Im going to bother.

Whoever mentioned Jurassic Park. I grew up on that movie, we watched it all the time, so its always been a favorite. #2 and #3, not so much though. They were ok I guess. Story lines on them were a bit faulty.

Thanks Blackbird, I don't mind being spoiled.

I never watched horror movies growing up, because my imagination was way too active and it would cause me to have nightmares for weeks. So no Jason, no Freddy Krueger, no Pinhead, etc. So I feel a bit uneducated about horror in general.

I think that now that I am older, I find some movies more troubling then scary.

The scariest things that I have seen are some episodes of Deadly women because they are based on truth. Also, I watched an interview with an assain for the maifia called the Iceman(I think) There was something very frightening about that man. He was in prison at the time but I wouldn't want to be in a room with him.

Ohh have you seen 'Monster'?
Based on Aileen Wuornos

Yes, I did.

Saw Psycho tonight, the guy who wrote the book lived here in town and based the Norman Bates character on a guy who lived not too far from here. This is the 50th anniversary of the book so the theater had a special event to celebrate.

I like what I have seen so far of Hitchcock.
The Freddie movies were just campy; along with the Jason movies.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre is also loosely based on the guy who lived nearby my area, but a rather dumb movie.
Silence of the Lambs was pretty good.

I like the suspense movies that make you think. Anything with idiot characters who willingly walk into pitch black rooms or run in heels kind of stuff just makes me want to shut the film off.

movies dont ever really scare me or gross me out but sometimes i'm am disturbed by them. and sometimes i'm more disturbed that someone thought of it in the first place.

and really i see more disturbing, readily accessible stuff on tv than in movies.

i guess one of the most disturbing thigns i ever watched was that one episode of the X-files where the two inbred brothers kept their amputee mom/sex toy stored under the bed strapped to a roll away cot. and then they buried all their deformed sibling/offspring fetuses in jars or something out in the yard.

when i was little the movie Cat's Eye freaked me out a little but it was awesome at the same time.

and there was some weird shows that used to come on friday nights when i was growing up. i remember one there was a playhouse in some kids back yard and it like ate little kids into its walls. and you could see their faces and bodies moving behind the sheetrock.

tales from the crypt was always so stupid it was just funny to me. lol.

the only movie that even startled me a little bit (and my main thing is things that jump out at me suddenly) is The Others when the old lady doing the seance jerked the door open of that cabinet thingamabob the kids were hiding in.
