I think Appaloosa is a good choice. Beautiful horses. They are known for their stubbornness and intelligence. Interesting combo. Hombre is 1/2 Appy and has a rough trot also a bit stubborn and smart. He tries real hard to be good.
Well, almost congrats Skye. Darn close and it will be great! I'll try to remember to congratulate you in a few months.

Huh, I wonder if Appaloosas are known to have a rough trot, or if there are just some special cases out there. I certainly don't have a say in the topic--I've ridden one only once and know nothing about them--but I am speculating.

Missy is such a good horse. A lot of the time you will walk up to get her out of her pasture, or come back to the cross ties when getting something, and she'll nicker to you. She gets attached to people easily and honestly is such a sweet girl.

She looks and sounds lovely, a reliable and safe girl. Absolutely beautiful. I think bays are gorgeous, hard to say favorite but that is because all are so beautiful.
I just found out yesterday that one of the rescue horses, Bonnie the bay mare that I wanted REALLY bad but DH was not up for- that we thought was pregnant but doc said no- is in fact pregnant and Maka is the daddy. She could foal within the next 3-4 weeks. I am soooo excited. All of Maka's babies have real nice markings. I will definitely update.
