Yeah, I’ve been riding for 7 years and my first horse really knocked my confidence for 6 but I’m okay now I still ride and my confidence is growing
Chip one of the polo ponies I had was the only horse that I could never ride. The moment I got on him he just reared and bucked. Just like a rodeo. I gave up trying to ride him. To ride him you had to completely dominate him and almost punish him, I could never ride that hard so I just lead him. He wasn't a novice ride! I had alot of knocks but learned quickly that you have to get straight back up and learn from it. My daughter got dumped of nansi last week and didn't want to ride but she got back on and she was fine. Confidence comes with experience, the more you do the more of a team you will become.

Anyone else have have horses?
Hello!

I don't personally own a horse(working on gaining money and to be in the right place and time ;) ) but I do ride.
I take lessons at the barn down the road.
Currentally I am riding a 16.2HH Liver Chesnut Morgan gelding, named Max. Sweetest boy ever. 17 years old.
He has had a lot of work done on him over the past year. The beginning of last year, he was flight.y, skittish, and would bolt any moment he got.
Between me, the barn owner and his actually owner, we're getting him back into shape. Gorgeous boy, and he does so good now.
