This is the gorgeous Sierra. I believe she is 14-15, but I may be wrong. She is a Chestnut Quarter Horse mix mare.

I FINALLY decided to try the HIGH JUMP! And believe me I had NO IDEAL she was going to jump it...… I was like WWWWWWAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!

I rode my girls boyfriend today.
Bossy shares a pasture with a gelding named Bud, so I help with him a lot too. Hes and AMAZING english horse and before he was a lesson horse he was doing large competitions. And by large I mean multistate.
Bossy is always beside him unless she is being ridden, or he is being ridden.

Hi kids! I'm here too. This is a nice break from chores 
. Mahalo Butterscotch. Looking good- there are some real beauties posted. 
I'm Leslie, I had a 12yo Welsh Paint when I was young and we were inseparable (till dad sold
) . Married me a man with 3 Arabian horses a decade ago. We rode a bit (western pleasure) together. His horses were in good shape but in their high 20's and within 7 years we lost them all. 1 mysteriously, another got tripped up in wire, the last foundered- RIP Kula, honey-girl and Kapakahi.
A few years back we purchased "his and her" horses. I picked out a just-made-3yo-handful, named Hombre
(<-day we picked up hombre) and my husband purchased a 3yo beauty named Cisco
(<-choosing Cisco). Hombre is now 5+ and Cisco is 4. Certainly not turn key like almost every ride I have been on through the years. I have to keep a good eye and tight rein on my young thing but getting better! Lots of ground work, round pen, arena, light beach and trail. With the big assist of an awesome trainer it has been very enjoyable and we are getting to where we want to be.

I "get" that! Getting tossed or hurt sure takes the fun out of things... glad you are getting back on while you are young, gets harder as the years add up. You look good and that is a nice photo!
