Horses!!!!!!!!

My grandfather had a steer that he trained to pull things. They were poor folks, and cattle are cheaper to keep than horses. I remember him talking about it; he said it was easily spooked - but that may have been his shortcoming as a trainer.

I've rode bulls. Never trained one. I'm good with horses and can ask mine to pull or ride. Hopefully that training ability converts over to a brahma.

I saw this horse thread and had to jump in say hi fron MO,and share a couple pictures of my beloved Peruvian Paso horses. My pretty boy Corsario and a couple mares.

I'd like the Mini Brahma just for the Nastalgic look. I go to a lot of Chuck wagon races in AR. I think it'd just be different and save my horses for the races during all my cruising.

Just an update.

I am still around. I am still on my farmette, thankfully. Was released from chapter 7 a year ago (economy crash ruined our business) so we still can't qualify for a mortgage to find a cheaper farmette. I have threatened Chase with a lawsuit if they refuse to work with us. I especially will get a lawyer if they try to foreclose as that will buy us a few more years till we can get back on our feet.

I have my old horse still. The pony I am trying to find a free lease. That's not happening.

My beautiful mare who has an auto immune condition and can't be vaccinated, well, that's another story. A friend of mine talked me into selling the mare to her over a year ago. She blew me off on the vaccinations part, and vaccinated the mare. My mare got sick, blowing 5 painful foot abscesses over the course of a 6 month period. The idiot friend of mine is STILL vaccinating her, but cut back on them. THE HORSE CANNOT HAVE VACCINATIONS AT ALL!!!!! I can't get the mare back, nor will this idiot person listen!!!! I was soo stupid to believe the lies that came out of this person's mouth. NEVER AGAIN will I sell a horse, that has health problems, trusting that the new owner would take care of it properly!! I should have free leased her out as I would have had more control!!!!!

OMG I pray every day please God get this horse out of this woman's hands!!!

I missed the mini part, that is as little better. Good luck. My cows are charangus and I am happy just to let them though I can milk one, and ride my horses. Your horses are nice and look well built for what they do. I miss flat out running, but still prefer my gaited horses since I am mostly a pleasure and trail rider now.

I just have to beat the wagon around the track. It's not a side by side quarter horse sprint. I also use them fro trail riding, gathering cattle and going fishing sometimes. I wouldn't have one that just runs. That and I like a little meat on 1. If I work them on cattle a lot more than they are used to one week or they get sick they have a little to lose and I don't spend so much time trying to get them back to fit.

And sorry to hear about all the bad going on with you right now Azulegg. Hope things start to brighten for you and the mare soon.
