hot on an ant trail...

Leave it to Maple to make ants a good/funny story!

Nah, they do that anyway. Ants eat any dead insect, including ants from their own nest, as far as I know.

It seems to be my night time activity as of late.

Now last night I only squished 5...that's a good sign. But who knows what happened once I went to bed.... shivers.

You should have seen what I knocked out of the honey hive... I'd drop it on the floor and somewhere like 6 would knock free and I'd stomp on them and then I'd do it again and get more and more and more... I thought it would never end. But it did.

Then I was sitting there admiring my new fish and I see one climbing on the lid of the tank. So I used the palm of my hand and squished him. I thought about flicking him in the water and seeing if the fish would go for him. Being it's shark week on the discovery channel and all... it's peaked my interest to watch a flailing thing in the water only to get gobbled up. Is that wrong? Why can't I turn away?

Ants, ants, ants. I think with our extra wet summer we are suffering a plague of ants. I opened my dishwasher the other day and the bottom was full of ants. I freaked out!! Have never even seen an ant in the house before and now...
Anyway I put the dishwasher through two cycles and started sprinkling ant killer in strategic places. Where are they coming from???

oh my gosh... that would be a predicament. I've never had an ant in there but maybe an earwig... nasty creatures.

Gosh Maple, why were you even watching the Discovery Channel? It seems that you have got really good live action right in your house! Add your commentary and you have Discovery beat hands down!

geez... how many other channels reenacts little terriers getting swallowed up by a 7 foot lemon shark?
