Do you have an estimate or actual weight for her? (I understand not everyone has a good scale, thus my saying estimate)

Right now I do not.. She's a pretty nervous bird so it would be tough to catch her. I will try though and see what I can do.

So according to my very unscientific methods of measurement (weighing myself, catching her, then weighing us both) she is 3 lbs now at nearly 5 months old.

Thank you! Yes I like my huge variety of birds.. I want one of everything LOL.. The silkie is almost 12 weeks old.. hoping this one is a girl. My last gorgeous splash silkie turned out to be a roo

Here is the best pic I could get of my Mottled Houdan Emo, I'm just a little disapointed that she ended up beardless, she looks more like a mottled Polish without her beard. But I think she is getting really close to laying for me!

That happens with hatchery stock. I noticed Privett Hatchery boasts with an image of a beardless male, and I'm thinking, "Seriously?" That's like showing off a beardless Faverolle.

Either way your girl still is very pretty and thankfully has a body more like a Houdan than a Polish.

I hope your scale is wrong, because 3 lbs is really small even at that age. That or I hope she's a really slow grower.
