Oh wow. They’re adorable lolThe black and tan coonhound was a nice dog too once I got past it being a male. He was a big goober. The blue tick was a pain, and ran off a lot. Like coonhounds too, but those days are behind me. They definitely need to be hunting.
Black and tan, blue tick, redbone..I love them all! Coonhounds (at least mine) is a good hunter. I’m set back in the country and he’s treed SO many raccoons. Opossums, wild cats..he’s pretty good. Now if I can just get him to jump up and get a hawk I’d be set!The black and tan coonhound was a nice dog too once I got past it being a male. He was a big goober. Never hunted mine. I did teach the one to trail a piece of baloney. They are goofy silly stubborn dogs. I'd get another if I had a fenced yard.A basset hound, I know the bawl, I know the ears and short legs..I’ve never had oneAre they good hunters too? Wonder how they’d be around chickens?
I’m not a hunter either. (I will however take and eat as much venison as I can get!).Never hunted mine. I did teach the one to trail a piece of baloney. They are goofy silly stubborn dogs. I'd get another if I had a fenced yard.
