this is my house hen, baby, who is slowly being introduced to life as a house pet,she is my first one ever.

August is my house chicken. There is a story behind why. She? Is my first chicken Iv ever raised. Needless to say s/he is spoiled! I love this bird! Calms me and makes an empty nest feel so much less empty.
54 days old now. I rescued August on hatch day when this tiny runt was rejected by its mother

i have one! she used to wear a sock-diaper. now she's crate trained so no more diapers. Honestly I think cleaning and changing diapers is a lot more work than wiping up the occasional accident
