Definitely. I’m just saying that it isn’t as simple as 10-15 minutes.Little different, but true.
Yes. Agreed.Definitely. I’m just saying that it isn’t as simple as 10-15 minutes.
I had a hen once that waited until I opened the pop door every morning she's race out and dropped a huge turd(and she wasn't broody). So possible but not common. But the definitely can‘t control it for hours on end. (Well....broodies are an exception.)
None of this changes the fact that chickens carry salmonella and other diseases.I had a hen once that waited until I opened the pop door every morning she's race out and dropped a huge turd(and she wasn't broody). So possible but not common.
I didn't say it didNone of this changes the fact that chickens carry salmonella and other diseases.
They can hold their poop. Have you ever had a broody chicken?!!!? They sit in the nest for HOURS holding their poop!!Chickens can’t hold their poop for hours. They poop around every 10-15 minutes. She’s not a dog.
And you just said you leave the door open. Now you say you manually take her out every few hours.
???
Not every chicken has salmonella and diseases. That’s ridiculously uneducated if you think thatNone of this changes the fact that chickens carry salmonella and other diseases.
I never said all. But they all carry bacteria in their poop and since they poop every 15 minutes... well, I can just imagine what someone’s house must smell like if they keep a house chicken. Not every chicken has salmonella and diseases. That’s ridiculously uneducated if you think that
That is different, and therefore irrelevant. They can hold their poop. Have you ever had a broody chicken?!!!? They sit in the nest for HOURS holding their poop!!
