On a whim I bought some pigeons.(couldnt beat a $1 each,lol)
I used to have a huge loft, but Ive moved and no longer have it, so currently they are being housed in a wire cage, but now thats it getting closer to winter, Im wondering what I should do for them.
I was thinking about closeing the sides in on a long and tallish wire rabbit cage I have (about 6 feet long and 4 feet tall) and using that. My only thing is, the door lifts up and all of it opens at once. My husband is great at fixing things, but I need an idea how how to have the door(s)
My next thing is, I dont have a bob trap or anything like that, but I would still like to let them fly. Any suggestions? Will all breeds return home? (as long as they dont get attacked,etc like that)
