I just put the three eggs from my back yard into lockdown. 2 are EE and one is from a mystery chicken. I don't know if it came from a polish or my lone mottled houdan. I guess we will find out hopefully. I candled it right before lockdown and it looked good.

You know how much trouble I'd be in if I even THOUGHT about setting more eggs this month?

But..if you have Ameraucanas, or Olive Eggers I might re-think that!

I put 17 eggs ( lav, lav split, and wheaten ameracauna, ee's and olive eggers, ) from Muggsmagee, and 9 of my own (blrw/welsummer, and blrw/ancona) in the bator at 7:00 this morning. Lock down is set for the 8th, and hatching the 11th.


...Praying for at least one lavender and one wheaten ameracauna pullet.
