Okay, So I would prob buy this.... And use it as a Incubator... and use my Top hatch bator as a Hatcher???? Since The Hovabator will be hard to clean... The main mess will be hatching, so It shouldn't be a issue right???

my hovas have a clear plastic tray in the bottom of the bator easy peasy cleaning

Are they made out of styrofoam like the other hovabators and if so does it make them difficult to clean?

I LOVE THE TWO THAT I HAVE, I JUST WASH THE BOTTOM SECTION WITH DISH WASHING SOAP AND WATER AND RINSE WELL, I USUALLY SPRAY WITH A BLEACH SOLUTION AND THEN RINSE AND DRY AGAIN. THE TOP WITH THE HEATING ELEMENT, I JUST WIPE OUT WITH CLEAR WATER AND THEN WIPE WITH BLEACH SOLUTION AND THEN WIPE WITH CLEAR WATER AND DRY. I JUST DRY WIPE THE HEATING ELEMENT AND USE A HAIR BLOWER TO BLOW OFF THE FINE CHICK DUST. IF IT IS SUNNYDAY I JUST SIT MINE OUT IN THE SUN FOR ABOUT AN HOUR AND THEN IT IS READY FOR THE NEXT TIME. THE TEMP IS PRESET AND WORKS LIKE A CHARM AND LIKE OTHERS HAVE SAID NO PROBLEM IN OPENING TO ADD WATER AND REMOVE CHICKS OR QUAIL, HUMIDITY AND TEMP GOES RIGHT BACK UP, AS GOOD HATCHES AS A FRIEND THAT HAS A REALLY EXPENSIVE DIGITALLY CONTROLLED INCUBATOR. IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO HATCH FOR COMMERCIAL QUANTITIES , IT WORKS FINE. WILL HOLD 120 QUAIL EGGS, WHICH IS A LARGE BATCH OF QUAIL, TO CARE FOR.

With it, Would I have to buy the Quail egg Trays though? Or will the eggs fit in the slots?

The new 1588 Hova-Bator for 2012 has a digital control center. It shows set temp, incubator temp, and humidity. You can adjust the tempature by the two arrows on it. So far so good! Ordered it from GQF mfg. as a starter kit got the incubator, auto turner, and 30 quail eggs. All for $197.50 with free shipping.

I just checked the incubator warehouse site, they are taking pre orders on them now. Units wont ship out until 1- 27 or so.

I do need another one! LOL! So will start saving pennies. It has a great view of the eggs too! I love my 1588, but I've always had a hard time seeing the temp, needing glasses and the bator sits in kinda a dark corner. Had to almost stand on my head to read it! LOL!
