Dad is with his other partner. Is this a bad thing r normal? I just assumed it was normal since this is my first natural setting
I'd at least give him access if he doesn't have it, and no it's fine once goslings hatch him and his other partner[auntie] will take part in protecting the goslings right along with mama. Since that nest box is pretty small and if she hatches even half of the eggs in there I'd keep him and partner out of the nest box so goslings don't get accidentally stepped on. or remove the front board so there is move room. I'd probably put up fencing around the box for a couple days till mama and goslings have bonded and gosling have their legs under them well, by then she'll be wanting to take them out of the nest box anyway and then the other 2 can meet the babies up close and personal. They will still be able to see them through the fence but no one can be trampled on. They are pretty fragile for a couple days after hatch.

Thank you miss Lydia dad does have full access to mom and will auntie still set even if she does hang with mom dad and the goslings ?
She will probably go broody most geese do and if she hatches in spring they will still combine their broods together. and be one big happy flock. Or do you suspect she may go broody sooner is she laying too? What happens sometimes is the dominant goose will get to brood and the other will become auntie but it didn't work out that way here the dominant goose here let her dd sit last year while she took the season off. lol so who knows what may happen with these geese but what ever does all your gosling will be accepted into the main flock and be loved and protected.

Are you raising for meat. ? or just for the sheer pleasure of having geese?

Just for pleasure I love geese they r my favorite animals here on the farm I just love sitting outside in the morning with a cup of hot coffee r tea before work and sit and watch them. But yes all my geese r laying except for the ganders of course
