The Yellow Birchen has played a big part of the Pumpkin Hulsey line. I would like to see some photos of true Yellow Birchens:

This is one of my Hulseys/Birchens

You must be thinking of Lemon Blues/Brown reds if you are thinking of the color of the birds in your pictures and the Crow wing pattern. I don't think your punkin birds are laced though.

It's my understanding from research that Mr Hulsey's roosters were primarily red, However some were stolen by an associate call Babb and he crossed in some Birchen, which was called "pumpkin hulseys", I still remember when they were just called "Hulseys", maybe the so called "Yellow Birchens" is where the "Pumpkin" came from. Maybe???

Is a grey/pumpkin cross, Outlaw Grey, why I call him JJ (jesse james)
